From the front row to the stage

From a young age, Lyla has been enchanted by the world of performing arts, and she is thrilled to embark on her teaching journey alongside Katie at Star-Struck. Her love for the magic of theatre — bringing shows to life and witnessing the seamless integration of every element on stage — has always been her driving passion.

A journey of passion and performance

Lyla's journey began with nine years of dedicated weekly musical theatre classes at Star-Struck, where her passion flourished. This led her to further her studies in Musical Theatre at the prestigious Birmingham Ormiston Academy, where she captivated audiences in productions such as Grease and Made in Dagenham.

Her commitment to excellence was further honed at the School of Theatre Excellence (SOTE), where she constantly pushed herself to evolve as a performer. She is currently advancing her expertise on a BA (Hons) Musical Theatre course.

Memorable moments at Star-Struck

Lyla fondly recalls her remarkable experiences at Star-Struck, including performing at the renowned Shaftesbury Theatre for three consecutive years. Among her cherished memories are her portrayal of Elphaba in Wicked and her performance in The Greatest Showman — moments she'll always treasure.

Inspiring the next generation

Lyla is deeply committed to nurturing and inspiring the next generation of performers. Her dedication to her students and her enthusiasm for the performing arts make her an invaluable part of our academy.
